Altech served as a subcontractor providing technical personnel to our client, the St. Louis MetroLink, to install, repair, and retrofit their light rail vehicles.

Providing the Right Personnel to Complete the Job

Working with the St. Louis MetroLink, Altech was responsible for removing flooring of LRVs, repairing structure, and installing new flooring for Siemens-manufactured railcars.

Our work included:

  • Maintain float of LRVs out of service for the floor modification project
  • Remove existing flooring and enhance floor supports per drawings
  • Install new flooring and reinstall other stanchions and floor plates
  • Test & Review SOW and sign off to return LRV to service
